Just be on the lookout for other players who may be searching for the Battle Star or the chance to get an easy kill on distracted players. Here's the location marked a map:įortnite players don't actually need to go to Shifty Shafts and locate the Treasure Map before seeking out the hidden Battle Star instead, they can simply head over to the location near Dusty Divot and pick it up, eliminating most of the time needed to complete the Week 9 challenge. The Shifty Shafts Treasure Map points to a Battle Star hidden on the southwest end of Dusty Divot, just a short ways north and west of salty Springs. If it looks familiar, it's probably because Fortnite players come across it all the time. There are a couple of clues on the map: the treasure is on a lower rocky outcropping featuring a few different trees, with the lower rock formation holding the treasure being found in the south end of the area.
